Life does not look backwards. This simple truth applies not only to biological life, but also to the life of consciousness, spirit, and soul. Life has its own will and direction, and we exist as an expression of life, not its master. We are the children of life — a natural and spiritual movement that moves in its own direction.

The psychology and methods devel- oped at the Nelles Institute recognize this ever-unfolding movement of life itself. Life decides, not us. The Life Integration Process's constellation paradigm focuses on this self-expres- sion in our own life. As our biological life moves from unity with our mother in the womb, through child- hood in the realm of our family, the awakening of sexuality in youth, into adulthood, and finally into the seren- ity of old age and the disappearance in death, our consciousness too can unfold itself in each stage according to the challenges of life itself. In the Life Integration Process, we follow this natural and spiritual movement.

Psychological integration is not something we do; it happens by itself. The deeper secret of our psy- chological approach is not the work of change, which is heavily pro- moted in our times. Integration means accepting everything as it is — yourself as well as others — and building your life and identity on that foundation.

At the International Summer Acad- emy (ISA), we welcome participants from around the world. The Acad- emy will be conducted in English and will be a place where people come together to share experiences,
